Water Spot Removal

(Stage 2 Water Spot Removal only)

Sedan/Coupe/Small Vehicle $160

SUV/Mini Van Size Vehicle $225

Stage 1: Surface Water Spots

– At this stage, water spots consist of mineral deposits that remain on the surface of the paint or glass after water evaporates. These minerals, often from hard water, sit on top of the clear coat or glass and can typically be removed with a basic wash or detailing spray.

Stage 2: Scale Formation

– In this stage, the minerals from the water spots have started to harden and form a scale-like residue on the surface. These hard water minerals bond more strongly with the paint or glass, making them more difficult to remove. Simple washing might not be sufficient, and specialized products designed to dissolve mineral deposits may be necessary.

Stage 3: Etched Water Spots

– At this advanced stage, the hard water minerals have etched into the clear coat of the paint or the surface of the glass. The minerals have created small pits or indentations, causing more permanent damage. Removing these etched spots requires more aggressive methods, such as machine polishing with a compound and the appropriate pad. This process smooths out the surface by removing a thin layer of the clear coat to eliminate the etched spots and restore the surface’s smoothness and shine.

Exterior Plastic Restoration

Sedan/Coupe/Small Vehicle $75

SUV/Mini Van Size Vehicle $100

Steps for Trim Restoration

1. Preparation:
– Clean the Trim by thoroughly washing the trim with soap and water to remove dirt, grime, and any existing product residues. Rinse and dry the trim completely with a microfiber cloth.

2. Surface Preparation:
– Remove Oxidation (if applicable): If the trim has significant oxidation, use a plastic or rubber cleaner designed to remove oxidation. This step helps to prepare the surface for better adhesion of the restoration product.
– Degrease the Trim: Use a degreaser or isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the trim, removing any oils or residues left behind from the cleaning process. This ensures that the restoration product adheres properly to the surface.

3. Apply the Restoration Product:
-Apply the restoration product to a foam applicator pad or a microfiber cloth. Spread it evenly across the trim using smooth, even strokes to cover all areas.

4. Allow the Product to Cure:
– Let the Product Sit: Allow the product to penetrate and bond with the trim. Typically, this can range from a few minutes to several hours.
– Buff the Trim (if necessary): Use a clean microfiber cloth to gently buff off excess to ensure the trim is even, glossy finish.

5. Inspect and Reapply (if needed):
– If any areas appear uneven or still show signs of fading, apply a second coat of the restoration product as needed.
Final Wipe Down: wipe-down with a clean cloth to remove any residue and enhance the finish.

Why is it important to have your car detailed?

Auto detailing is not a necessity, but it’s certainly worth your time. Your car is a reflection of you, and others may form some of their impressions of you depending on how your car looks. Based on what is included in car detailing, it makes sense to invest some money into it.

Promotes Good Health

You may think your car can only hold five passengers, but that’s not the case. Your vehicle carries millions, if not billions of unseen creatures. Whether you like to picture it or not, germs and allergens flourish in cars.

Too much dirt, dust or debris inside your car allows these germs to circulate in your vehicle. A thorough cleaning with vacuums and sterile wipes removes these particles and kills germs, and is another reason why detailing your car is important. So if you get the sniffles and sneeze a lot, you might start to feel better after taking your car to a detailer.

Increase Your Car’s Resale Value

You’ll have an easier time selling your car if it shines. A shiny and spot-free vehicle is like a person going in for a job interview. The person applying can be the right girl or guy for the job, but the employer won’t see that if the job applicant looks dirty. Likewise, a car coated with dirt and grime, or an interior laced with stains will push potential buyers away. Your vehicle’s resale value can increase by a considerable amount, and a clean appearance could push an apprehensive buyer to say “sold!”.

Reflects on Your Professionally

The section above made mention of job interviews. Well, your employer looks at more than just your work. In addition to your dressing, grooming and overall demeanor, it’s not unusual for a prospective employer to look at other things – your car could be among them. While a car covered in dirt won’t necessarily dissuade an employer from hiring an individual, such a sight could leave a somewhat negative impression on their mind. So always consider the fact that someone may have their eyes on you.
